Link privacy

When you open a short link on this domain, you are sent on to the offer it leads to, and the visit is recorded. The links are run by DareBay (darebay.com) and hosted by Cloudflare.

What is recorded

• The link, the time, and a random id for the visit. The id is also passed to the offer's affiliate network.
• A keyed hash of your IP address instead of the address itself. Whoever holds the key could recover an IPv4 address by trying every possible one, so the hash is treated as personal data.
• Your country and network provider as Cloudflare reports them, and the Cloudflare data center that served you.
• The type of device, browser and operating system, read from your browser's user agent. A hash of the user agent is kept, not its text.
• The host name of the page that sent you, and the request details that tell a visit from a link preview or preloading.

This domain sets no cookies.

Why

To count the visits each creator's link brings, to tell people from bots and link previews, to match sales reported by the affiliate network to the link and visit that led to them so the creator is credited, and to detect fraud.

How long

Visit records are deleted after 120 days. A visit that led to a sale is kept with the record of that sale, which is kept as a financial record.

After the redirect

The offer's affiliate network and store receive your visit under their own privacy policies.
